lyrics

This life, a world that is not your own,
This land your strife, plaguing the ones you’ve known,
When all the while you’ve given up your throne,
To those who might have left for less alone.

So step inside, witness the hell you’ve made,
To be beside those lost to your brigade,
With all you’ve tried, you know it seems insane,
To ask for light to fight another day.

Our world is full of these things that we can’t control,
The more we hold on the more they slip through the fold,
If you can’t fight it might be best to just let go,
Than live on in this hole.

So here you stay, tried hard just to make it right,
And lost it all, the things you’ve had in sight,
Keep holding on with every ounce of might,
It’s too far gone when we’ve all crossed the line.

This is the fate, they say of love and war,
To see the world, willing to go so far,
To save yourself, you battle from this barge,
When all is torn, they won’t care who you are.

Because we’ve driven too far!

Our world is full of these things that we can’t control,
The more we hold on the more they slip through the fold,
If you can’t fight it might be best to just let go,
Than feel the loss at the hands of the one you hold.

What is the meaning of all of this pain you see?
To be the one knowing nothing is left for me,
Some things are better left dead just to let them breathe,
Cure me of this dis-ease!
